Just won a national championship with UConn, Paige Bueckers, will adorn the orange carpet on Monday in New York for the WNBA Draft (7:30 PM ET, ESPN).
Bueckers is the obvious choice to go number 1 in general to the Dallas Wings.
But it is probably the only tray when it comes to this year’s draft. After that, there is a lot of uncertainty and intrigue.
It is worth noting that several players who were selected from projected lottery decided to renounce the WNBA draft for another year of university. That includes Olivia thousands of Notre Dame, who was transferred to TCU, and Lauren Betts, who wanted to return to UCLA to play with their younger sister.
