Weezer’s bassist’s wife, Scott Shrner, was diagnosed with cancer only one week before the police shot him and arrested for murder attempt.
Jillian Shrner revealed on an Instagram post on March 4 that had received treatment for the disease.
“Yes, I have a little of the word C all of you,” he subtitled a photo of herself in a hospital. “I know that many of us do it.”
Jillian, 51, thanked his “incredible” oncology team in Adventist Health in Glendale, California, for completing his “complicated operation without problems.”
“I am always very grateful for every second of compassionate and excellent medical care that recounted in my life,” he wrote. “Thanks to all the notable health workers, who take our lives in their hands. And we all breathe.”
Two weeks later, Jillian gave fans another health update after undergoing “two consecutive” surgeries, including a complete hysterectomy.
“I feel called to mention it, because I only know two people who had this procedure and Neith is with us today,” he wrote in a publication on March 22. “Very here for me to call and ask what.
