Berkeley – A woman died on Friday after she was caught at her house in flames in southern Berkeley, the authorities said on Tuesday.
The Forensic Office is in the process of confirming its name and will not be launched until your family is notified.
The fire began around 4:50 pm on Friday inside an apartment on the ground floor on Derby Street, near Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
Firefighters entered the burning house and found the unconscious and burned woman in the room where they believe the fire had begun. Firefighters have not said what room it was.
It was taken to the outside where paramedics and the measures of salvation of life before being tasks by ambulance to a hospital where he then died.
No other injuries were reported, but two residents were displaced. The Red Cross was called to help them.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There are three fatal fires in the leg so far this year in Berkeley. There was none last year.
