It is not a matter of laughter.
The “White Lotus” star, Aimee Lou Wood, criticized “Saturday Night Live” for making fun of her in an “wicked” and “fun” sketch.
On Saturday night, the Sketch Comedy Show issued a parody of the HBO series, starring Sarah Sherman as a parodied version of Wood’s character, Chelsea.
He thought that most of the sketch mocked Donald Trump and his team, Sherman wore an exaggerated accent and enlarged postpizenous teeth for parody and said: “Fluoride? What is that?”
The next morning, Wood, 31, to his Instagram stories to share his frustration with the way he was portrayed in “SNL”.
“I found the thing of ‘Snl’ bad and fun. (I felt fair, I could eliminate later),” he wrote.
He added another story: “It is a shame because I had a great time seeing it a couple or a week.
“Yes, do you have urine, is that what the program is about that there must be a more intelligent, more nuanced and less cheap way?”
The “Sex Education” student also clarified the rumors that someone in HBO, the “The White Lotus” domestic network, called it “ugly.”
“No one in HBO calls me ugly!” She declared, adding that the creator of “White Lotus” Mike White fought so she was in the “pleasant way.”
“It was honestly the best place, but my little head says:” HBO didn’t love me. And I know why HBO didn’t love me, it’s all, “he said.
“Mike had to say:” Please, let me have the ugly girl! “
Later, Wood revealed that “SNL” apologized to her by the sketch.
Page Six has communicated with a “SNL” representative to comment, but did not receive an answer immediately.
Earlier this month, Wood admitted that she is tired of the conversation about her teeth.
“It’s, as great, and now I want to stop F – King talking about that,” he told The Sunday Times in an interview published on April 5.
“Can I talk about my character? Why am I talking about my gnashers?” She continued. “It’s as if it were only a couple or frontal teeth.”
The actress said she is still getting used to her appearance being a constant issue of discussion.
“I understand what it represents. People feel safer of their imperfections. They feel a bit strange than what intimidates me for now what everyone is,” Woo! “
“It is still what is defining me.”
