Two main advisors of the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseeth were escorted from the Pentagon and placed administrative license after being identified in an investigation as leaks, Chordination to two officials.
The officials were Dan Caldwell, a main advisor to Hegseth, and Darin Selnick, the Pentagon Cabinet Deputy director.
It is not clear what their reasons were, but an official said that Caldwell leaked information to “extreme left reporters to hurt the secretary.”

Caldwell worked with Hegseeth in worried veterans for America, first as a policy director and then as executive director.
Selnick also worked as the main advisor in veterans for America, although after Hegseeth left the organization.
Caldwell was more recently in Defense Priorities, an organization known for foreign policy reaction legislation.
