Kentucky entrepreneur and potential republican candidate for Senate Nate Morris in Breitbart News Saturday He said the use of President Donald Trump of reciprocal rates is “leveling the playing field for the US worker.”
Morris could apply to the United States Senate to replace the outgoing Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky), who is not postulated for re-election. Hey spoke with Breitbart News Saturday Host Matthew Boyle as Trump has unleashed reciprocal tariffs to fight for better commercial agreements with nations worldwide that have higher rates and other barriers to trade with US goods.
Morris said he believes that the commercial strategy, ultimately, will improve the American Werker who has decimated his legs for decades of bad commercial agreements.
“I am very excited about how the president is driving this and finally leveling the playing field for the US worker. I think tariffs are a great example of how we are doing that,” he said about Breitbart News Saturday.
Morris said he came from a family or car workers, many of whom are members of the United Car Worker (UAW) union.
He added: “Enough is enough, we will support the US worker. We are going to buy American again. Can you imagine a concept?”
He continued, saying that Trump’s commercial policies in the United States first “restore the global economy in favor of the United States and use our economic power to fight all these nonsense that are costing the working class to his wife and the American dream.”
“The way to a middle class and the American dream is that you have to have to manufacture jobs in this country,” said Morris.
Morris, as a supporter of Trump’s first vision in the United States, cheered the hiring of Trump’s candidate, Elbridge Colby, to serve as a policy secretary.
By pointing out that McConnell voted against Colby’s confirmation, he said: “Elbridge Colby is one of the most brilliant foreign policy minds in the Republican Party and it is pathetic to see Mitch McConnell continue with Democrats to sabotage President Trump.
Vice President JD Vance echoed Morris’s comments, saying: “Mitch’s vote today, like many of the last years of his career, is one of the great acts of political meanness I have seen.”
