Washington – The White House will no longer respond to journalists who list their preferred gender pronouns in their email firms because it ignores scientific realities. “

“It is an official White House policy to ignore the electronic emails of journalists with pronouns in the firm,” announced the Trump war room account in X, confirming anecdotal press instances that obtain a brush.

The official account then added a statement by the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, saying that it does not respond to journalists who use pronouns “, since it demonstrates that they ignore scientific realities and, therefore, ignore the facts.”

The press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, said she was refusing to answer questions from people with pronouns in her bios.

“As a matter of politics, we do not respond to journalists with pronouns in their bios,” Leavitt confirmed to New York Times.

The spokeswoman for the Government’s efficiency department, Katie Miller, also responded to a Times reporter who would not answer questions due to pronouns in a firm.

“This applies to all reporters who have pronouns in their signature,” Miller said.

The use of pronouns in emails and biographies of social networks proliferated in recent years as a way of showing solidarity with transgender and non -binary people, who may prefer to be addressed such as “them/them” or other non -traditional formations, co.

The Trump administration has recognized only two genres.
