Joy Behar told his coanfitations on Wednesday about ABC’s “opinion” that President Donald Trump is intentionally destroying the economy of the United States to cause chaos so that he can declare martial law and become a dictator.

Listen: What is your exact plan is what I want to know? Yesterday I had a cold, so I was at home seeing everything. And I am thinking, he is trying to destroy the country. Now, why is hey doing that? Like a person at the audience who sees this, there are a couple of theories. Then there are a couple of theories. First, if everything is established, what do you call it … the stock market, all your billionaire friends can go and buy everything low? That is not an original idea. Hakeem Jeffries said that. And, in fact, today in Truth Social, Trump wrote: “A good time to buy.” The other theory is by James Carville, which I think is interesting, which are horses to enliven that instability and chaos to consolidate power for them. Then people begin to go crazy, to which we are starting.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: No, we aren’t.
Listen: Well, people are starting to get angry.
Goldberg: Well, that’s good. You want them to get angry.
HA: But how crazy people will get, and how people will be torn, and how many jobs will be lost and then you can say, well, there is too much chaos and now we will have martial law and become a dictator. I mean, I don’t know. That can be out of limits.
Goldberg: Everything is possible.
Listen: but it is possible. Just as someone watching the news, that’s what I see.
