One of the oldest operating places in Taco Bell with an iconic facade is to close its doors.
The Taco Bell number 31 restaurant, which represents location 31 of the fast food chain, outside McDowell and Hayden Roads in Scottsdale, Arizona, is closing at some point in the near future, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.
“Well, it seems that he is a child or silly being sentimental about the closure of a fast food place,” said Todd, a client of the location, to the local television station. “But, you know, this is really just an icon.”
The location currently operates 24 hours a day.
It opened in the 1960s and has overcome its small kitchen, inner dining area and drive-thru.
It is owned by Desert de Oro Foods (Ddo), according to KPNX TV.
“We discovered that the store would close, and as Taco Bellian, you can’t miss it,” Stephanie Suriano told KPNX, who lives in Michigan and flew to the valley to eat in the place for the last time, he told KPNX.
“It is an emblematic place. He was one of the first to build like this, he is the last to build like this; they no longer exist as,” he said.
Ddo opened his 219º Taco Bell last month, according to a press release.
The company’s website says it uses names, designs, logos, trademarks and related products “under taco Bell Corporation and Yum! Brands.”

Location employees told KPNX that they expect the closure to occur on Friday.
A Ddo spokesman told the media that there are no stone plans for the building, the furniture or the street signal once the new location opens through the street.
