The Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania is being criticized for not maintaining his campaign promises in regards to the election of the school.

Governor Josh Shapiro recently spoke about a possible duration of the 2028 presidential offer an interview in the real time of HBO with Bill Maher, but some are not happy with the way he has handled the issue of young students of their states and their opportunities.

In a Friday’s opinion article for the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Rachel Langan highlighted the fact that Shapiro had promised to approve a scholarship program to help young academics in neighborhoods with difficulties who want to pay the school of their choice.

However, Langan argued that Shapiro seems willing to leave those students and schools in his possible commitment to the presidency.

The article continued:

While campaigning in 2022, Mr. Shapiro promised to approve Lifeline scholarships. The scholarships would give low -income children in public schools that fail between $ 5,000 and $ 10,000 to pay for safe and high quality private schools. In these public schools that fail, only 10% of the students are competent in mathematics, and only 33% are competent in English. In Hazleton, six of the seven public schools are failing academics, with the last not far.

But Mr. Shapiro has not yet signed the Lifeline scholarships in law. While the State Senate controlled by Republicans is on board, the leaders of the democratic majority of the Chamber have been affected. As leader of his party and the executive director of the State, Mr. Shapiro could use his stalker pulpit to press his fellow Democrats. Instead, it has collapsed in the first sign of disagreement. Despite continuing to mention the scholarships, including calling them “pending issues” in 2024, the governor has not raised a finger to maintain the promise that helped him take him to the highest position of the state.

In February, the Williamsport Sun-Gazette He informed that Shapiro proposes additional $ 526 million in funds for public schools.

In a social media post on Sunday, the Republican strategist Andrew Surabian damned The governor on the subject of election of the school highlighted in Langan’s piece.

“Josh Shapiro campaigned in the choice policies of the school of common sense and then being chosen and the immediacy that doubles the knee to the union of leftist teachers is incredible in the brand for today’s Democratic Party. Even the ‘moderate’ assumptions are the extreme left”, “,”, “,”, it is the extreme left “,”, “,”, they are the extreme left “,”, “,”, “,”, “,”, “,”, “,”, “,”, “.”

Conservative communicator Steve Guest also commented on Langan’s article, writing“Josh Shapiro’s 2028 campaign has a difficult start.”

Shapiro, who in 2023 reduced millions in taxpayers’ funds to a pro-life program that supported advice and housing for pregnant women, was the person who now former vice president Kamala Harris (d) rejected as his formula partner in the presidential of 2024.
