Ohio infant killed by family pit bull in ‘tragic accident’

An Ohio baby was killed by one of his family’s three Pit Bulls, his parents said on social networks.

“I will never understand why!” Mother Mackenzie Copley wrote on Facebook Saturday, publishing photos of her 7 -month -old daughter who put the family’s dogs.

“I am so lost and broken. This was the same dog that was next to my baby every day,” he wrote.

The father, Kamer Turner, also tok social networks to express his complaint.

“Life is not fair,” Turner wrote. “How can I keep living without it?”

The baby, Elizah Turner, was described as never never smile.

Animal Control took the dogs and leads the investigation before determining its destination. 10TV/WBNS

“Elizah’s face would illuminate the room and his laugh was contagious,” says his obitary.

The exact circumstances of the fatal incident were not clear.

Elizah Turner was bitten by one of the family’s dogs, according to the police, who said the situation intensified rapidly.

No other details were made public. It is not clear which of the three dogs of the family bit the child.

Franklin County’s animals control took the three dogs after the tragedy and will decide what happens to them after an investigation.

Columbus police called him a tragic accident.

“There are really not many words that I can say to convey how I feel,” the Columbus police sergeant. James Fuqua told Wbns.

“All in this process are literally afflicted as if this child belonged to us, because most of us are parents and we cannot imagine what this scene is like,” he added.
