MLB world mourns deaths of Octavio Dotel, Tony Blanco

The baseball world was saddened by the tragic deaths of the MLB relief pitcher, Octavio Dotel, and the former Tony Blanco team player after they killed after a roof collapse in a nightclub in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday.

Dotel and Blanco were among the 66 murdered people when the Jet Set’s nightclub roof in Santo Domingo gave way while Merengue singer Rubby Pérez was in the middle of a performance.

The Diestro dotel spent 15 years in MLB, which included stops with the Mets, Astros, Athletics, Yankees, Reales, Bravos, White Sox, Pirates, Dodgers, Rocky Mountains, Cardinals and Tigers.

Dotel helped the cardinals win a World Series title in 2011.

“We are disconsolate when knowing the death of Octavio Dotel,” the cardinals said in a statement. “Dotel was part of our 2011 World Series Championship team after being acquired on the exchange deadline that season. In 29 games with us, it was a stable presence in our bullpen, launching an effectiveness of 3.65 with 32 strikeouts, 3 victories and 2 salvages to oads for ode to ode to ede.

“Our deepest sympathies and condolences are with the loved ones of Octavio and all affected by the tragedy in the Dominican Republic.”

He also spent eight years playing in Japan.

His son, Tony Blanco Jr., is in the smaller leagues of the pirates.

“We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic death of the former player of Major player Tony Blanco in Tuesday’s tragedy in the capital of Santo Domingo de la Dominicana Republic,” MLB said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with their family, which includes the Pittsburgh Pirates Tony White Jr.

The Mets had a moment of silence before Tuesday’s game against the Marlins in Citi Field, and the team said in an X publication that “they cry the death of Octavio Dotel” and that their “thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedy in the tragedy in the tragedy.” “” “” “” “”.

“Thinking about our people in the Dominican Republic,” said the Mets manager Carlos Mendoza, to journalists before the game. “It affected many people there. We have many Dominican communities in the world of baseball. Our prayers to their families.”

The Yankees extended their “deepest condolences” to the Dotel family, as well as all the victims of the tragedy in the Jet Set nightclub.

The Astros remembered Dotel as “one of the main relief throughout baseball” and “a battle horse” lasted their time with Houston.

The cause of the ceiling collapse is still uncle and the authorities have said that at least 150 people were flavoring in the tragedy.
