Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized in Georgia almost a week after his daughter revealed that the actor experienced a “medical complication,” a source with knowledge of the matter to CNN said on Monday.
His daughter Corinne Foxx shared on Instagram last week that his father had experienced a health -related incident last Tuesday, he thought he did not make it specific to what happened. He added in his publication that due to “fast action and great care”, his father is “on the way to recovery.”
CNN reported Friday that Foxx was hospitalized and underwent medical tests.
Foxx has been in Atlanta filming the Netflix movie “Back in Action” with Cameron Díaz. The source previously told CNN that the medical incident did not occur in the set and that Foxx was not transported by an emergency vehicle to the hospital.
A separate source close to production in the film told CNN on Friday that the filming is “currently underway” and is expected to end this week.
This source did not explain if Foxx still has scenes to film or if he would be on the set.
