The Israeli army says that he will say goodbye to the reservists of the Air Force that signed an open letter condemning the war in Gaza for fulfilling political interests in the rescue of rescuing the hostages, an army official warned on Friday.

Nearly 1,000 reservists and members withdrawn from the Air Force signed the letter, which was published as an announcement in Israeli newspapers this week.

Most signatures came from army veterans, according to Israel’s times, they thought that 60 reservists are likely to be expelled from force.

The letter demanded the immediate return of the hostages, just at the cost of ending the war.

“The continuation of the war progresses any of the declared objectives of the war, and will cause the death of the hostages, of the Soldiers of the FDI and innocent civilians,” says the letter.

“As the test has been, only an agreement can return to hostages safely, while military pressure leads mainly to the murder of hostages and the danger of our soldiers,” he added.

Hamas captured around 250 Israeli hostages on October 7, 2023. More than a year and a half later, it is estimated that 59 are still retained, and only 24 believe they are still alive.

An army official said there was no room for anyone to use the “brand of the Israeli Air Force” for political protests and “to exploit their military state while Simultaneuouse participated in the fight”, calling the letter a violation of trust.

The letter is the last instance in a growing number of Israeli soldiers who speak against prolonged war.

Israel has doubled its support point in the Gaza Strip, with its army now controlling more than 50% of the enclave since the war against Hamas lasts last month after a high fire.
