A former drug control administration agent accused last year of storing illegal weapons and domestic violence now faces additional charges for aiming a weapon to a federal agent and shaking a duration of firearms a show of rabies incidents on the 2024 road.

James Young, 53, faces up to 29 years in prison after prosecutors accused him of five assault positions with a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon, waring a gun to another motorist and causing a blow to Mont.

The voice of an incident of 2022 in the field office of Los Angeles de la Dea that apparently cost Young his badge, and the alleged episode of Rage Rage two years later.

“My Office Will Not Tolerate Criminal Criminal Behavo Tose We entrust to Enforce The Law. The Disturbing Allegations of This Case-Including Domestic Violence, Multiple Assaults With A Firearm, and an attempt Hit-And-Run-Reproat to Public, Bothet to public, to public, to public, to public, to public, to public, to public, to public, to public, to public. Young’s lawyer, Jeff Voll, declined to comment on the new positions.

The former agent was arrested for the first time after he was accused of suffocating his separate wife and putting it in a wrestling last year. A subsequent search in Young’s house presented 30,000 rounds of ammunition, several grenades and a different 15 firearms cache that include a Saed shotgun and four illegal Ohin weapons to possess under state law, according to records. The police also found modified credentials of the DEA, Meean, to make Young a federal law agent, as shown in the records.

Young’s 25 -year police career came to an end in 2022, when he allegedly hit his service weapon loaded in the abdomen of a fellow agent, according to judicial records. The victim was described as “a subordinate employee” in a notice published by the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Justice last month.

Young tried to be “playful,” according to judicial records, but the other agent responded to disarm and submit to Young, who was ordered to deliver his weapon and soon retired.

The DEA declined to comment on the charges against Young.

The other incident occurred in September last year on Highway 405. According to a motion presented by the District Prosecutor’s Office last year, Young hit another car with his vehicle twice, then a gun pointed at the direction of the other driver. The motorist was able to identify Young’s car, and the former agent told the Researchers of the California road patrol that he was the only person who used that vehicle, according to the judicial records.

Later, Young supposedly called a former co -worker and made “vague, but worrying threats regarding CHP officers.” He had even learned the directions of his house, according to the judicial records.

Volle said there was no truth in that accusation.

“It never happened,” he said.

The CHP presented a case of criminal threats to prosecutors, which remains under review, according to Zara Lockshin, a spokeswoman for the district prosecutor.

Young was investigated by three different law agencies last year when the Judge of the Superior Court of County, Bernie Lafortza, released him in his own recognition in October by the strenuous objections of prosecutors, who indicated that he had recently been found in possession of a small arsenal.

The next day, Young was arrested by the department of the Sheriff of the Los Angeles County again under suspicion of breaking into the house of Saugus that he once shared with his wife.

When the new positions were presented last month, prosecutors argued that Young was delayed instead or a bail of $ 235,000, according to Lockshin. A judge again ignored prosecutors’ concerns and allowed the former federal agent to remain awaiting trial, thought that Young is subject to electrical monitoring, Lockshin said.

A preliminary audience will be held in the summer, according to Voll.
