Dems Betting Money on Out with the Old, In with the New

“Young people are coming” is a promise of a contingent of Democrats seeking to sacrifice victories in the intermediate works of 2026 with fresh faces. But can they save the feast of the pathetic voting numbers that are establishing historical minimums?

A PAC (Political Action Committee) appointed leaders who deserve a $ 20 million effort this week destined to get young primary challenges against the democratic headlines of the Chamber in safe seats. And, several young progressive candidates have already launched primary offers against the Democrats of the House of Representatives.

The PAC is the creation of the vice president of the National Democratic Committee (DNC) David Hogg, who has increased rapidly in progressive policy since his days as a defender of arms control as main leaders after the Parkland student, Florida to 2018.

The representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is also surpassing political bushes to try to solidify a new youth movement with large-scale demonstrations throughout the country. She is accompanied by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) who, at 83, is not a face of young people but still popular among some young people.

He Hill Domingo reported:

Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders have seen a collection of mass base funds in the cycle outside the year. The occasion-cortez team said it raised more than $ 9.5 million of 260,000 individual donors, with an average donation of $ 21. Sanders’ team said it raised $ 11.5 million in the first quarter of the year.

Perennial Democratic leaders who shape their direction for years seem to be notable in action in news coverage and policy discussions in recent times.

Since its presidency ended, Joe Biden, 82, has taken political pastures. Even many Democrats now consider it a drain for the party.

The former president of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, 85, has not been a presence since she was injured in a fall in Luxembourg last year, followed by a hip replacement.

The senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer, 74, may have lost his mojo forever with the members of the left of his Caucus for not stopping a budget resolution of the house this month.

The frustration with the Status Quo Democrat has fed at least four youngest main opponents to challenge the legislators of the House of Representatives in recent weeks. Pelosi is included, who faces a challenge by Saikat Chakbrabarti, a candidate who, at age 39, is less than half of the former speaker’s age. Chakbrabarti is a veteran or Sanders campaign in 2016 and former chief of Casio-Cortez Cabinet.

It is also speculated that Ocasio-Cortez can challenge Schumer for his seat in the Senate. Progressives like Hogg and AOC also seem to see the openness between young voters.

According to the Yougov survey, the approval of young voters or Trump have fallen since the beginning of their mandate, from 5 percent positive positive to a negative net axis of 29 percent of the beginning of April. But according to March CNN Polling, the Democrats have registered highly registered lousy approval ratings in recent weeks, with only 30 percent of voters under 35, watching the game favorably.

Hogg said in an interview with the Hill:

The Democratic Party says about and again “we have to worry about democracy, we have to worry about democracy,” and we do it. But the best way to do it is not to say that we must worry about democracy, but it is to use democracy to activate people to improve their lives and show them how democracy is the best vehicle to do so.

Like other political bromuros, Highg’s words are long in idealism and short details.

As Breitbart reported, the boxes of Democratic leaders say they do not have a “coherent message” to fight Trump. The report earlier this year gave a New York Times Account that showed after 50 interviews with leaders in private meetings and public events, the Democrats “seem without lead, without rudders and divided.”
