The electoral pollster Nate Silver believes that the representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is likely to become the 2028 democratic presidential candidate.
Trump has not led this period to president for more than 100 days, but that has not prevented many speculating who could challenge Republicans in three years.
Silver, in his Silver Bulletin Sustack said that Ocasio-Cortez, the progressive member of “Squadron”, will be the one that will take the Democrats to the next presidential cycle.
Former Fivethirtyeight Podcast presenter, Galen Druke, Witred with Silver, citing a Yale University survey that found that the New York progressive had one of the most important favorable among Democrats, with 60 positive points. The survey conducted as the second presidential candidate failed to the most likely presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I think there are many points in his favor at this time,” Druke said. “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a wide appeal throughout the Democratic Party.”
