5 Democrats Visit Anti-Israel Activist Mahmoud Khalil in ICE Detention

A group of Democratic legislators visited two anti-Israel activists held at the Louisiana Immigration and Customs Control (ICE) facilities this week, claiming that they are “illegal in heartbreaking conditions” after taking the fist of the students.

Senator Ed Markey (D-MA), representative Ayanna Presley (D-MA), and representative Jim McGovern (D-MA) were photographed outside one of the facilities on Tuesday, and Presley reported that they were there to visit Mahmoud Khalil and his “constituent”, Rumya Ozturk:
