At least 15 people were triggered, two of them fatally, on Friday on Sunday morning in Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) Chicago.
ABC 7 reported that the first fatal shooting on weekends was discovered “around 1 am in block 13300 of S. Avenue M.” A man believed that he was 20 years old was found outside with multiple gunshot wounds in his body. He died on the scene.
The second fatal shooting of the weekend happened just after 6 pm on Saturday “near the CTA Blue Line platform in the 400 block of South Peoria Street in Van Buren.” A discussion between a 61 -year -old man and a 24 -year -old man resulted in a shooting, which led to the death of the older man.
