President Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum that revoked the security authorization of the former director of the Cyber Safety and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Chris Krebs.
While Trump signed several executive orders in the Oval office on Wednesday, the secretary of the White House staff, Will Scharf, explained to Trump that the presidential memorandum with respect to Krebs “addresses his access to the existing authorizations of the government he could have.”
Scharf also explained that the presidential memorandum directs the Department of Justice (DOJ) and “other aspects” of the federal government “to investigate some of the malignant acts” Krebs may have “participated” while working as director of CISA.
“This is a man who armed his position against freedom of expression in the electoral context, in the context of Covid-19,” said Scharf. “This is another presidential memorandum similar to the one you just signed. It addresses its access to the existing authorizations of the government that it could have, and further instructs its department of justice, other aspects of your head of CISA of Investigated, in investigation.”
In response, Trump said that after the presidential elections of 2020, Krebs came out and described him as “great.” Trump also criticized the administration of Biden-Harris for its open border policy, and for its failed retreat from Afghanistan in 2021, which led 13 US members to be an attack on August 26 at Kabul airport.
“I don’t know if I with him. I am sure that I did not know him, but he did not know him, and he left just after the elections, which was a manipulated choice, a poorly managed choice. We made phenomenally in those elections,” Trump said. “Look What Happened to Our Country Becouse It – Open Borders, Millions of People Coming Into Our Country. Trump continued to describe Krebs as a “wise type” and a “fraud” and misfortune.
As Breitbart News previously reported, in November 2020, Trump announced that he had fired Krebs after Krebs had described the presidential elections of 2020 as the safest election in the history of the nation.
CISA issued a statement on November 21 that said: “The November 3 elections were the safest in the history of the United States. At this time, throughout the country, electoral officials are reviewing and verifying twice the entire electoral process before finishing the result.”
In an informative sheet of the White House, it was explained that the presidential memorandum “addresses the head of each federal agency to immediately revoke any hero of active security authorization by Krebs”, and also to suspend and Bende kept Clebs -Sitit Klaronce sealing), including Sentinelone, in the slope of a review of the clearing that are consistent with the national interest. “
