The Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, produced an upcoming drone activity, contrasting the “radical transparency” of the Trump administration with the lack of the previous administration.
“Do you remember the fiasco de drones under the last administration of a few months ago?” Duffy asked in a video posted in X, noting that he lived in New Jersey at that time and confirmed that the public was “deeply worried” about inexplicable mysterious drones.
“This administration is adopting a completely different approach: radical transparency. As part of that mandate, I would like to share an update on drones and what we are doing to protect it,” Duffy said, announcing that FAA is carrying out “drone detection.”
Duffy explained that they are performing these tests to “ensure that we can properly detect drones in our airspace and make sure they are not with aircraft navigation systems,” and said they report residents where and when these tests will occur.
“FAA will operate more than 100 commercial drones of everything like the drones you see behind me, to much larger vehicles,” he continued, pointing out that the affected communities have alerted.
The tests will be completed on Friday, April 25, and Duffy promised that Trump’s DOT will continue to provide the American people “this type of sincere updates of Beind-The Scenes.”
“You deserve a government that is always transparent about what we see and what we do,” he added.
