The Marlins were torn in pieces so the announcer of the Mets, Gary Cohen, felt it was an atrocious mistake.
At the bottom of the sixth entrance of the Mets-Marlins game on Tuesday, Miami manager of the first year, Clayton McCullough, decided to walk Juan Soto intentionally with the first open base to load the bases and face Alonso Rojo-Ho.
It was the walk that left Cohen, he thought; It was that the Marlins decided close Play the box to cut the corridor at home, just although the bases were charged and Alonso is located in the 10th percentile at the speed of the foot.
“And again they bring the painting with the bases loaded and one against Alonso,” Cohen said, out of himself. “What is happening? Why would you establish the double game and then not play for the double game? … something is disgusted.”
Two launches in the bat, Alonso made the argument a debatable point when he scratched a double-left center field that clarified the bases to put the Mets to day 9-5.
But Cohen found another reason to call the Marlins.
“Do you see how superficial is the central gardener? [Derek Hill] Are you playing? I mean Pete Alonso, what are you doing? ”
McCullough was the first base coach of the Dodgers for four seasons before assuming the Marlins pattern this year after they fired Skip Schumacher, the manager of the year of the National League 2023, after two seasons.
