A meeting of the School Board in the capital of Maine, Augusta, became controversial on Wednesday after a father with a magician hat was “silenced” by the officials while criticizing the resistance of the State to the trans prohibition of President Trump’s trans prohibition.
Nick Blanchard denounced Maine’s insistence on continuing to allow men to compete against women in women’s sports while wearing a magic hat. Hey, also presented a petition for Middle and High School director of Cony Kim Liscomomb has eliminated from his position.
However, when Blanchard “embarrassed” the member of the School Board that voted not when he returned to the 2020 interpretation of Title IX, the president of the Augusta School Board, Martha Witham, cut Blanchard, saying that he would not allow “negative comments.”
“Liscomb is currently the president of the Association of Directors of Maine (MPA), which supports the participation of transgender athletes in school sports based on gender identity,” reports Fox News.
Blanchard, who not only wore a magic hat but also a shirt with a photo of the governor of Maine, Janet Mills, who said: “You are fired,” began his conversation praising the six members of Trump’s school boards for Trump IX, which did not allow men to compete in women’s sports.
However, Hey also strongly criticized the member of the Board who voted against.
“Good job and thanks to the six members who voted to go to interpretation 2020 of Title IX, and the shame for the only member of the Board that voted,” said Blanchard.
Witham pounced on Blanchard’s comment, saying: “Sorry, but negative comments will not be allowed.”
Blanchard then returned to read his request.
“This request is asking … if you, the members of the School Board, will make a vote,” Blanchard began, but Witham was quickly interrupted.
Witham told Blanchard that his comments contained “defamatory comments” and that it would not be allowed to continue talking if he continued. When Blanchard asked Witham to explain what he was defamatory about his comments, she told him that she didn’t need to explain that.
“These comments will not be tolerated at the meeting directed towards us or no one else in this room,” Witham said.
Blanchard tried to unwishly the situation by not referring to Liscomb by name.
“Then, as you should know, someone who is the president of the Association of Directors of Maine,” Begen Begen before being interrupted by Witham.
“No, close enough. Sorry, you finished, Mr. Blanchard,” Witham said, and ordered him to leave the speaker’s podium.
As he moved away, Blanchard shouted: “Communist China here!”
Maine has become a point of inflammation in battle over trans inclusion in women’s and girls sports.
“The United States Department of Agriculture froze the funds for the State last week, and the Department of Health and Human Services has already referred to the Department of Education of Maine, MPA and Grelyy High School to the Department of Justice,” said Fox News.
“Friday is the deadline for the State to modify its current policies or face another derivation to the Department of Justice by the United States Department of Education.”
