By 30, Matt was enjoying success: a six‑figure income, a young family, and life in Marina del Rey. Yet this prosperity was deceptive. By his mid‑30s, he found himself trapped in a corporate 9–5, struggling with burnout, failure from a previous startup, and lack of motivation. He recognized the disillusionment he was experiencing: a life unconsciously lived under the influence of societal expectations and social media illusions.
