Eric Dane revealed that it has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly called Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The 52 -year -old “Grey’s Anatomy Star shared the impressive Thorsday announcement in a statement to people.
“I have diagnosed bone with if,” Dane told The Outlet. “I am grateful to have my beloved family by my side as we sail for this next chapter.”
Together with the wife Rebecca Gayheart, 53, Dane has two children, Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 13.
“I feel lucky that I can continue working and I am anxious to return to the euphoria set next week,” he added. “Please, I ask you to give my family and this time the duration of privacy.”
Dane is among the cast members who will repeat their roles in the third season of HBO’s drama, which begged the film in January after years of delays. (The final of season 2 of “Euphoria” was broadcast just over 3 years ago, on February 27, 2022.)
Dane has played Cal Jacobs, Jacob Elordi’s father, Nate Jacobs, since season 1.
He will begin to film his scenes for season 3 of the series created by Sam Levinson on April 14, People said.
A strange degenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, since it causes the progressive loss of muscle control. It is called Lou Gehig’s disease after the famous baseball player who suffered the condition.
