On Friday, the appearance in “The Ingraham Angle” of FNC, representative Mike Lawler (R-NY) questioned the opposition of the Democrats to the Salvation Law, which requires proof of citizenship to vote in the US elections.
Lawler argued that his opposition suggested that the Democrats think that certain people are “too stupid” to ensure identification and demonstrate citizenship.
Host Laura Ingraham said: “Congressman, God. I suppose all are terrible people.”
“Well, consult that four Democrats joined us to vote for the bill, including Henry Cuellar, who is Latin, I suppose they could want to have that discussion at the conference,” Lawler replied. “But, the fact is that the Democrats continue to degrade people of color, women, throughout this country, implying that they are too stupid on how to obtain identification and demonstrate citizenship, and now it has to this security measure of common sense voters.
“Very good,” said Ingraham. “Congressman, it is clear that they want illegal immigrants to vote, and they probably think that this is the only way they live. He will once win.”
Lawler added: “There is no doubt.”
