Senator Jim Banks (R-IN) criticized representative Don Bacon (R-NE), his former colleague in the Chamber Armed Services Committee (HASC), after Bacon played recent establishment media attacks against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseeth.
Bacon clung to the last lot of establishment media attacks claiming that Hegseeth shared information classified in a signal chat.
Banks attacked Bacon for using reports as a claim to attack Trump’s agenda, which Hegesh is carrying out in the Department of Defense, noting that Bacon has launched votes to kill Trump’s first agenda in the United States in the past.
“The representative Bacon was of the decisive vote on the Armed Services Committee of the House of Representatives to keep Dei’s programs in the army with which he was fighting,” Banks aware In X. “I am not surprised that hegseeth and President Trump are opposed.”
Banks shared a Kristina Wong report by Breitbart News during the HASC marking of the 2024 defense authorization bill as evidence, which says:

Both amendments failed 30-29 after Bacon and Turner put themselves on the side of the Democrats against them.
Bacon-a Modate republicate from a friendly state with Trump that or expresses his disgust with the president made hegseth if he were in charge, although he was careful to do so.
“I am not in the White House, and I am not going to tell the White House how to handle this … but it is unacceptable, and I would tolerate it if I was in charge,” he said, “he said Polrico.
Bacon criticized the administration of Hegseeth’s pentagon while admitting that he did not have a complete image of the pentagon operations.
