Cryptographic industry executives are reinforcing personal security and demanding more bodyguards in response to a recent series of kidnapping and rescue attempts worldwide, partly in France, aimed at investors and professionals in the sector.

According to a Bloomberg report, Infinite Risks International, a private security firm based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is seeing more consultations about body guard services and more long -term customers that are recorded to obtain a private security detail.

In addition, French law officials recently announced improved security measures for cryptographic entrepreneurs and investors, after three kidnapping incidents separated so far in 2025.

The measures include safety and accelerated access to police lines in the case of emergencies for entrepreneurs and their families.

The French law authorities also advised cryptographic investors not to announce their wealth or wear cryptographic clothing, at least their possibilities to become objectives. The disturbing incident chain highlights the need for proactive security measures and surveillance for cryptographic and professional investors in the industry.
