Texas A&M chief coach Mike Elko seemed surprised and disgusted by the sexist comments made by one of his players on Wednesday.
The Dustup Beed when the defensive liner DJ Hicks said that the motto of the defensive line was “CBO”, which defined as a motto that is “simple terms”, drowning the woman. “Let’s say so”, the eagle Reported.
Hicks, he thought, may have realized that he was stepping on a thin line with his explanation and seemed to try to clean what he said.
“That mentality, it only represents being aggressive. Every time we go out to the field, we are trying to put our hands on someone’s face. We go down to be liabilities.
But coach Elko did not have fun at all.
“It is transmitting something that should not be transmitted, so we will handle and address,” Elko exclaimed. “That is absolutely ridiculous that was said.”
It is possible that Elko has not appreciated Hicks’s comment, but hey, having to trust the line after several players, including Nic Scourton, Shemar Stewart and Shemar Turner, join the NFL.
