The secretary of the Treasury, Scott Besent, said on Tuesday in the “CNBC box” that China’s climbing of tariffs is a “big mistake” because he is playing a “lost hand.”
Bears Said, “If we put up a Tariff Wall, The Ultimate Goal Be To Bring Jobs Back To The Us But In The Meantime, We Will Be Collecting Substantial Tariffs. If We’re Successful TONING TONING TONKING TAKING TONING TAKING TONING TAKING, BACUE TAKING TONING TONE, BECE FACILITIES ARE IN THE US, AND there Should Be Sub Level of symmetry among the taxes in which we begin with the new payroll tax industry as tariffs decrease.
He continued: “I think you are going to see that some very large countries with large commercial deficits are very quickly presented. If they come to the table with solid proposals, I think we can end some good offers.”
Besent added: “I think it was a big mistake, this Chinese escalation, because they are playing with a couple of two. Traditional if we look at the history of commercial negotiations, we are the deficit country. What do we lose with the Chinese approach tariffs on us? We export a fifth to what we export to us, so that is a lost hand for them.”
