The Brute who hit the “Boardwalkwalk Empire” Steve Busii star in Manhattan last year muttered an apology that torn his head, since he was sentenced to six months in jail.
Clifton Williams, 51, said he was “sorry” for assaulting Buscii, 67, who was a walk through Chickn Bay when he walked to the Hollywood icon and hit him on the face on May 8, 2024.
“I only measure me the fact that there was an incident that presented me between me and Mr. Buscii on that date, and I’m sorry,” said Williams, with a tanned prison monkey when he faced the judge of the Supreme Court of Manhattan, Melissa Lewis.
Williams, who had no home at that time, declared the charges of March 12 guilty of assault and was also sentenced to five years of probation and two orders of protection, one against Buscii and another person who hit the same day.
Prosecutors have said that Williams was walking on the sidewalk near East 15th Street and Third Avenue when he hit a 22 -year -old man with a closed fist in an attack not caused at 11:30 am
Nine minutes later, Williams approached Buscii and registered it randomly in the face, causing Busii to fall to the ground, according to the authorities. Williams then fled the scene.
Williams was arrested more than a week after the attack after an Eagle Eye Officer recognized him in a home -free people building in Chelsea, where the accessor complained that the property has slipped.
Busii, known for the “Fargo” and “Billy Madison” papers, was seen days later with a purple eye and a swollen cheek while filming a commercial in Soho.
Williams said he was for someone else who had known and that the actor had to tell him that he was going to “kick my ass” before the wild attack, as shown by the judicial documents.
Buscii, who made a cameo in the new Apple program “The Studio”, was not in court for the sentence of his attacker.
A Busiemi publicist did not immediately respond to an investigation of the position.
