Sunderland Harriers led through the race that included the younger male age groups after Steve Rankin had an 8:52 division, for the two captain, once it looked like the fastest time of the Night M40.

There was a faster time, since James Nettleton de Gateshead was the best among M35, since his club was the second in general.

Third, Elswick ended with Andrew Bell, whose 8:55 was the fastest M45 time.

The first race of the night had been for all the age groups of the women and the elderly of 65 men and Jenny Berry took them all in the opening stage with once 8:59 that was the best among women and their Wallsend club in general in the first home of the women’s team in general.

The second female time was of Justina Heslop of Elswick, with 10:11, only a few days after helping his club British Masters W45 in Mallory Park.
