The creator of “New Girl”, Elizabeth Meriwether, intervenes if she ever reviewed the program with a restart or a revival series.

“No, no,” he clarified as he promoted his new show “dying by sex” (now transmitting in Hulu). “I love the program. I love the actors. All who made the show are still in contact with each other. It was like a formative moment in everyone’s life, I feel. And so, it is difficult to return.”
On whether I would visit the world of the “new girl” and those characters, he added: “I don’t know; we’ll see.”
“New Girl” was originally issued in Fox for seven seasons, from 2011 to 2018.
The comedy starring Zooey Deschanel, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris and Jake Johnson as an unlikely group of rooms, who deal with dating, work and personal problems.
The show saw an increase in popularity two years after it ended, duration of the Pandemia 2020 COVID-19.
“I think it is really popular at this time because it is a positive show,” said Johnson, 46, to the post in 2020.
“In essence, there is a real sweetness,” he continued. “And I think more than anything, people because childhood right now. It is an easy show with related characters about people who like them.”
In February, Greenfield, 45, and Deschanel, 45, also a mini “new girl” meeting on stage at the 2025 SAG Awards.
“I feel that the actors always throw me under the bus,” Meriwether joked to the post.
She explained: “They are asked [if there will be more ‘New Girl,’] And then they always say: “Well, it depends on Liz.” And I say: “You!”
