Bill Gates is not leaving his children as much money and some could expect.
The co -founder of Microsoft, who shares Kids Jennifer, 28, Rory, 25, and Phoebe, 22, with ex -wife Melinda French Gates, is worth $ 101.2 billion, according to Forbes.
But Tech’s magnate will only see a small fraction of their unfathomable fortune.
“I think everyone can decide on that,” said Gates, 69, about the podcast “discover with Raj Shamani.”
“My children obtained a great education and education, but less than 1% of the total wealth because I decided that it would be a favor for them.”
Even so, Gates’s children are established for half a day since 1% or $ 101.2 billion are still upward or $ 1 billion.
“It is not a dynasty. I do not ask you to execute Microsoft. I want to give them the opportunity to have their own profits and success. You know, be significant and not eclipsed by the incredible luck and good fortune I,” he continued.

Then the technology billionaire was asked what is the “correct mentality” for parents when it comes to inheritance.
“You don’t want your children to be confused with your support and love for them,” Gates said.
“I think that explaining early in their philosophy, which will treat them all equally and will give them incredible opportunities … but the highest called for these resources is to go to the needy.”
“They have seen the success of the Foundation, they are very proud,” added the father of three three, referring to the beneficial organization of the Gates Foundation that began in 2000 with Melinda.
Melinda, on the other hand, recently revealed that she and Bill, who requested the divorce in 2021 after 27 years of marriage, allowed her children to choose if she adhered to maintain “doors” as his last name.
“I just tried to keep them in the real world and point to things as much as possible,” he told Elle last month.
“We had real discussions about how our family was different, but you shouldn’t think more about yourself, that’s why.”
