Can we dream?
Aerosmith producer, Jack Douglas-Who, was behind the boards for the best-selling album, “Toys in the Attic” of 1975, still keeps Hope is not the end for the group after the injury in Steven’s vocal voice forced them to cancel the 2the-femainderrinthe-feminderrinthe-peerin.
He still wants the Rock & Roll fame to go out with an explosion.
“I hope yes,” Douglas told the post. “I don’t know, I listen to rumors. But I’m sure they would love it, you know?”
Last August, Aerosmith announced that they would withdraw from the tours due to Tyler’s vocal lesion, with the singer fracturing its larynx duration as an early show on the farewell walk in September 2023 in the UBS Arena de Long Island.
“As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other,” Aerosmith wrote on an Instagram post. “It has spent months working tirelessly to take his voice to where he was before his injury. We have seen that he fought despite having the best medical team by his side.”
“Unfortunately, it is clear that a complete recovery of his vocal injury is not possible,” the statement continued. “We have made a heartbreaking and difficult decision, but necessary, like a band of brothers, to retire from the tour stage.”
But Douglas, who began producing Aerosmith in the LP “Get Your Wings” of 1974 and continued to the album “Rock in a Hard Place” of 1982, refuses to believe that this sweet emotion has gone forever, even if Aerosmith does not play.
“I mean, Joe [Perry] He will remain a rocker, “he said about Aerosmith guitarist who continues to act alone and with the Hollywood supergroup vampires.
Similarly, Tom Hamilton-who co-written “Sweet Emotion” in “Toys in the attic”, is still starting that bass. “Tom has a band, nearby enemies,” Douglas said.
“I mean, these boys want to keep playing.”
And Aerosmith’s spirit is also alive in the next generation.
“I’ve recently been making records with [drummer] Joey Kramer’s son, Jesse Kramer, “Douglas said.” I mean, it’s incredible, an incredible drummer. I have been working with a group called Silverplanes, and he is in the band. “
And Douglas’s own son, John, played with Aerosmith during the bands of the band are the Wild Las Vegas residence from 2019 to 2022.
“I will tell you. You, the residence they made in Las Vegas was really surprising,” he said. “It was fun to go to the concert.”
But the reality is that Aerosmith, who launched “Toys in the Attic” 50 years ago on April 8, 1975, it simply does not exist without Tyler.
“There is no Aerosmith without Steven,” Douglas said. “Then, if Steven can sing, believe me, he will want to be out there.”
