Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said Monday about the “interior” of MSNBC that Congress has the power to stop the “tariff catastrophe” of President Donald Trump.
Host Jen Psaki said: “Tell me if I am right here, that Congress already has the authority to stop him. So what does that mean and what could happen to stop this?”
Warren said: “We will do a little constitutional law. It is the Congress that the Real has to address the tariffs. We cool this emergency power for Donald Trump, but Congress has the power under a simple resolution, the specialty is not gergency. Or these rates instead, we are advanced in the United States, he hears, we are not in an emergency situation with Canada.
Psaki said: “We love Wonky.”
Warren continued: “It is a privileged movement, that Meeans has to be taken to the floor to be voted. So at this time we have all the doocrat who say that we are really to declare that we are not in an emergency. Witgada, ingenuity, throughout the list with Japan, with South Korea, we are not.
