Horngcom Technology, an AMB Taiwan division, has entered into a strategic collaboration with RRP Electronics after a technical review of the RRPS installation in Mumbai.
It is projected that the association generates income of approximately $ 12 million for the current financial year.
The Horngcom technical team had evaluated the RRP semiconductor plant in Mahape on the outskirts of Mumbai and had cleared it for the tasks of Horngcom Taiwan.
The OSAT level 1 or RRP Electronics will now be scale to include a new production line dedicated to handling an additional workload, aimed at increasing efficiency and performance.
As part of the collaboration, HORNGCOM will assign a range of OSAT services and IC products that will be handled in the installation of RRP electronics. These include SIM cards and modules, NAND memory chips, MOSFET components and other products related to the integrated circuit.
The product portfolio reflects the growing demand for advanced semiconductor solutions and will be supported by the improved infrastructure at the Mumbai site.
