The world of golf has seen incredible victories so far this season.
Obviously, Rory Mcilroy won the Masters and that will be difficult to overcome, but the next PGA championship in Quail Hollow will do everything possible to challenge the status quo.
He will remember that Rory survived his playmate Bryson Deschambeau, among others, in Augusta last month. While Bryson did not end second in that tournament, he finished his PGA in Valhalla last year. Hey, too, very, since it ended before the second place McCilroy as the United States Open champion in Pinehurst.
These are just a handful of the stories that surround golf at this time and that everyone finds and combines with each other is part of the magic. Bryson joined that general stew on Sunday when he collected his first victory from Pinehurst with a victory in Liv Golf Korea.

Bryson took a score of the final round or 66 to leave Charles Howell III. While it is the third title of Deschambeau in the LIV circuit, it is the first since 2023 and the first to enter the final round with an advantage. Bryson could not close in Miami and Mexico City in similar circumstances. Obviously I also had an advantage on Augusta.
Deschambeau’s crushers also won the team of the LIV tournament team this week, so it was a clean sweep for him. As mentioned, he finished second in Valhalla last year when Xander Schauffele won his first important championship, he does not need to say that he is in the best way he has been on his leg for some time.
Bryson is clearly the most positioned LIV player to raise the Wanamaker trophy in two weeks. We will see what finally ends up happening there and if Mcilroy (which has been an extreme success in Quail Hollow) or some like the winner of the heritage of RBC Justin Thomas (who won his Can Dyo in the course).
