Berlin (AP) – The German police in a city of Spa to the north or Frankfurt on Sunday expanded a human hunt for a suspect who still usually after two people received a fatally shot a day before.
The police in the Hesse region said the two victims were shot dead in a residential area of Bad Nauheim, about 35 kilometers (approximately 22 miles) north of Frankfurt, and a reason was not immediately known. The authorities did not immediately identify the victims.
The German news agency DPA reported that a police spokesman had cited evidence that aimed at a single author, but that the authorities could not rule out the possibility that others could have been involved.
According to Hessenschau, a regional publication linked to a public broadcaster, a large police contingent was deployed after the shootings on Saturday, and local residents indicated that the special forces had a leg to the site, together with emergency vehicles and a police helicopter.
