Is seeing Jon Stewart of the Daily Show Sitting with extended feet under the desk resolved in the oval office on your list of future political predictions? Yes (surprisingly) he replies that yes, then he has a company.
A survey published on Tuesday and published by The Daily Beast shows Stewart, 62, gaining support with three percent of the votes of respondents to see him as a possible democratic presidential candidate next time.
That is the same as the main favorized Pennsylvania, Governor Josh Shapiro and the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, while ESPN takes the host Stephen A. Smith obtained one percent.
Who is in charge of the pack? Daily Beast’s report establishes it:
[…] The survey of more than 1,000 participants found that former vice president Kamala Harris beat the list a favorite to win with 28 percent of the votes.
Meanwhile, the New Jersey senator, Cory Booker, increased the ranks after his speech on the floor of the Senate of his record earlier this month, landing in number 2 position with 11 percent of the votes.
They join Harris and Booker among the top five are former transport secretary Pete Buttigieg and New York representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who tied 7 percent, plus the governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, with 5 percent.
The survey was conducted by Echelon Insights between April 10 and April 14.
