With the stock market that leads investors in a roller coaster, a New York restaurant provides comfort in the discounts of customers who offer chaos according to their financial losses.
The tavern of the war room in Albany, the favorite of Empire State Politics and located just a few steps from the State Capitol, is declaring the war against finesse finesse with its new promotion of “market collapse.”
The agreement intends to convert the insecure pain of the dinner in gastronomic gain, any percentage that you have lost in the market will be withdrawn from your bill.
Lost 25%? Get a 25% discount.
Lost 50%? Your check will be cut in half.
Lost 100%? Well, eat and drink your concerns, because your food will be free.
“All we ask is proof: show us a screenshot, print its portfolio or anything that makes it real,” said owner Todd Shapiro to the publication.
Shapiro, a political player for a long time that he previously served as a spokesman for Ivana Trump and state democratic president Jay Jacobs, previously told The Post who opened the tavern of the war room in 2022 “to bring back the magic that Albany used to have.”
Now, he is helping dinners that do not cover their money.
“It is the budget season. It is the chaos of the market. People need relief and, frankly, they need to laugh,” Shapiro said.

But diners in the tavern of the war room do not begin to sympathize.
“There are definitely laughs: a horn humor, some laughs ‘I cannot believe that this is real.’ But also solidarity,” the owner of the public house is directed. “People are opening on their finances, sharing stories and realizing that they are not alone.”
