You lose a little, you want some.

With the stock market that leads investors in a roller coaster, a New York restaurant provides comfort in the discounts of customers who offer chaos according to their financial losses.

The tavern of the war room in Albany, the favorite of Empire State Politics and located just a few steps from the State Capitol, is declaring the war against finesse finesse with its new promotion of “market collapse.”

The agreement intends to convert the insecure pain of the dinner in gastronomic gain, any percentage that you have lost in the market will be withdrawn from your bill.

Lost 25%? Get a 25% discount.

Lost 50%? Your check will be cut in half.

Lost 100%? Well, eat and drink your concerns, because your food will be free.

“All we ask is proof: show us a screenshot, print its portfolio or anything that makes it real,” said owner Todd Shapiro to the publication.

Shapiro, a political player for a long time that he previously served as a spokesman for Ivana Trump and state democratic president Jay Jacobs, previously told The Post who opened the tavern of the war room in 2022 “to bring back the magic that Albany used to have.”

Now, he is helping dinners that do not cover their money.

“It is the budget season. It is the chaos of the market. People need relief and, frankly, they need to laugh,” Shapiro said.

The tavern, once called “Hollywood planet of state policy”, is a hot point for local engines and agitators, with all, from Governor Kathy Hochul to the interns of the Senate who feel to order buffalo wings, or Hagna Hagna of a recipe caused by Matilda Cuomo, mother of the former governor and leather and wife of the governor of Mario, Mario Cuomo.

“This place always has a pressure for Albany experts. We are part of a political bunker, partly culinary playground. Our customs are intelligent, stressed and love a good laugh, so this idea hits that sweet tweet detects the article.”

The war room tavern was the market discount on Monday, April 8: the agreement will run until Sunday.

“People entered stressed, checking their portfolios on drinks, and I thought: Why not turn chaos into a small camaraderie? It is a fun and ironic way to give people a Bray that needs it must do so.

“It has become a kind of group therapy with snacks.”

The restaurant begged to announce the agreement on social networks and strategically delivered flyers near the Capitol. Until Thursday, some 50 people had drown their sorrows in the tavern, showing their losses to save some cash.

Patrons, from a tech-savvy local in his 30s Who Invests on the Side to a retreat lobbyist in her 70s Who’s Still Watching Her Ira “Like A Hawk,” And Even Several State Legislats, Have Walked into the Restaurant With Their Heads Hung As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low As Low So low so low so low so low so low so low so low as low as low as low as low as low as low as low as low.

A man sat at a table with a printed spreadsheet in which he had highlighted his losses and hit a posterior note that said “emotional damage”, so the bar cools 27% and a double bourbon to relieve pain.

Some just let their losses fall into some fun.

A group of legislative assistants became competitive. Who had the biggest dip, and therefore the biggest discount, had to sing Karaoke.

The guy who lost 31% crushed “living in a prayer”, something that could have to start doing if he loses more.

Unfortunately, a man had lost for a moment.

A client who showed his loss of 44% received the discount and a courtship sliding control of courtesy, “just for sympathy,” Shapiro said.

But diners in the tavern of the war room do not begin to sympathize.

“There are definitely laughs: a horn humor, some laughs ‘I cannot believe that this is real.’ But also solidarity,” the owner of the public house is directed. “People are opening on their finances, sharing stories and realizing that they are not alone.”

“It is surprising what a discount steak and a strong drink can do.”

And a rigid drink is exactly what many are asking for, wepecular because they have a leg this week for anyone who asked.

The post considered the Martini the New York drink, and now the tavern of the war room has made it the drink of the market. They have poured around 90 martinis of $ 9, so far.

“Let Washington debate politics: we will handle the cocktails,” Shapiro said.
