Mountain View: A driver hit and killed a pedestrian on Wednesday morning in Mountain View, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision occurred just before 5:30 am at the intersection of El Camino Real and Avenida School, said Mountain View Police Department in a press release.
The pedestrian, a 73 -year -old Mountain View resident, was a dead dead on the scene. The Office of the Forensic Doctor of Santa Clara will release the identity of the pedestrian after its relatives are confirmed and notified.
The driver remained in the scene and cooperated with the investigation of the Police Department on the collision. Police said alcohol and drugs did not seem to be a factor.
