The last time Lehman College won a baseball game, had been on May 9, 2023.

For the 42 games since then, Lightning could not get out of the best appointment before the night when they finally broke the losing streak against another fight program that lost 100 consecutive games, the University of Yeshiva.

In an interview with Tom flames from NBC News, he broadcast “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” Wednesday, Lehman’s pitcher Justin Chamorro, described the fight that the team felt to keep his head high, since they are the loss after the loss.

“You have to be optimistic, because when you are in a hole like that, it’s difficult. It’s hard to find positive aspects,” said Charo. “I continue with my teammates who, I just continue to press, and it will happen.”

Chomorro was right, and that day he arrived on Tuesday in the first game of a double heading with the University of Yeshiva.

But the victory was not easy since Lehman found Itelf 6-4 and three outs of another loss when Brandon Deynes reached a double of two races to tie in the seventh.

Elias Fermin was beaten by a launch in the same entrance with the bases loaded to score the progress race.

Chamorro released a complete game for lightning and in the clip, discussed the sensation once the victory finally secured.

“A feeling of relief, a feeling of joy!” Hey said. “When there is so much adversity on your way, it is much sweeter on the other side.

The two baseball programs had attracted a considerable amount of national attention that were directed to the confrontation after more and more people became the historical nature of the game, with both teams that sought to break the extensive loss gusts.

Yeshiva would avenge and hit his streak of 100 loser games in the second game of the double header, defeating Lehman 9-5 to end his historical drought.

“Different people in sports, starting a mountain can be winning a championship, for us, winning a game went to us,” said Yeshiva baseball coach Jeremy Renna, NBC News.
