Weezer Scott Shrner’s bassist’s wife was shot and beaten by police and since then has been reserved for murder attempt, the post can confirm.
The incident fell into the neighborhood of Eagle Rock in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 8.
The police put themselves to a support request when locating three erroneous improvisation suspects who fled the highway accident scene and ran into a residential neighborhood around 3:25 PT, with a Press press release from LAPD.
While the officers were looking for the suspects, they observed a woman, who was later identified as Scott’s wife, Jillian Shrner, 51, armed with a gun outside her residence.
Police said they shouted for him to release the “numerous” gun, but she refused.
Jillian then pointed out the gun to the officers, and opened fire, according to the press release.
While the LAPD confirms that the musician’s wife was beaten by the shots, TMZ informs that she was beaten in the shoulder.
The police said Jillian retired to his residence after being beaten, but then went out with another woman identified as the family of the family and was tasks in custody.
Shrner’s couple was transported to a local hospital by LaFD’s paramedics, where she was treated by a gunshot wound not life. Police also revealed that he recovered a 9 mm pistol of his house.
Since then, it has been reserved for murder attempt.
LAPD also shared that any officer or any of the community members gave the duration of the shooting and confirmed that Jillian was not involved in the previous outrage.
KTLA informs that Jillian and the other woman have been released from police custody.
The publication has communicated with the representatives of Wezer and Jillian and the LAPD to comment. His representative confirmed that he was shot, but he would not talk about the details.
Ktla obtained images of the three -car accident that caused human hunting. They also talked to eyewitnesses that described seeing one of the suspects away from the scene.
“I saw a gentleman walking on the shoulder,” Alana Altmeyer told The Outlet. “Then, my brother and I move forward and assume that he was leaving the scene of an accident.”
She said she and her brother persecuted him, and when they did, the man tried to run to the opposite side of the highway and fell.
“He was bleeding from his head, his mouth and his knees,” Altmeyer said.
However, that did not allegedly prevent him from jumping on the side of the highway and a embankment.
“I pursued him on the side of the highway, on the other side of the highway, around a couple of fences,” said his brother, Guy Binn. “I had a bag and a sweater. I got his bag. I obtained his sweater and I being so old that I could not keep up. I pursued him to the park and lost it.”
Shrner, who has been in Weezer since 2007, married Jillian in 2005.
The rocker and his wife have two adopted children.
