An Ohio teacher, who states that her husband had neglected her, declared himself guilty on Monday of having sex with her student.
Emily Nutley, former teacher of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, declared himself guilty on Monday for two positions of sexual assault after she was accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student in 2024, according to a report.
The 42 -year -old who originally faced six serious crimes from the sexual battery could face up to ten years in prison and will be included in the Ohio sexual criminal registry as a level 3 sexual offender.
The Hamilton County prosecutor said Nutley was in charge of a program program to help students fighting with their courses in St. Xavier High School.
The victim had dedicated the leg to the program and began working with Nutley in the autumn semester of 2023. After that, the teacher began contacting the student outside the school schedule, which included sending the photos of teenage nudes and the explicit sexual messages, prosecutors said.
The prosecutors added that multiple sexual meetings pursued between Nutley and the student, as of November 2023, with at least one sexual commitment in their office on the high school campus.
Anyway, the student tried to stop the relationship, to which Nutley reacted by continuing to send text messages to the adolescent, prosecutors said.
On Monday, Nutley declared himself guilty of two or six positions of sexual assault. In exchange for his plea, the other four positions were dismissed, according to a WLWT report.
“Did you get involved in sexual behavior with a 17 -year -old man on those two dates?” Judge Jennifer Branch asked, what Nutley replied: “Yes.”
Nutley’s guilt comes in the midst of her separation from her husband, who requested the divorce week after the prosecutors accused her, in accordance with the legal documents obeyed by TMZ.
According to the reports, the teacher responded to the divorce accusing her husband or “guilty of serious negligence of duty and extreme cruelty.”
Nutley, who was fired in October 2024, is waiting for the sentence, scheduled for June 10, while his divorce makes his way through the courses.
