Majority Have Unfavorable View of Democrats in Congress

A majority has an unfavorable vision of Democrats in Congress, he found a weekly survey of The Economist/Yougov.

The survey asked respondents if they have a favorable or unfavorable vision of Democrats in Congress.

In general, 60 percent said they have an unfavorable vision, and of them, 37 percent have an unfavorable view. Only 31 percent have a favorable vision, but of them, only 10 percent have a “very” favorable vision of the Democrats.

Predictible, most Democrats, 71 percent, have a favorable vision of Democrats in Congress, while the vast majority of Republicans, 93 percent, have an unfavorable vision. Most independents, 62 percent, also have an unfavorable vision of Democrats in Congress.

While Republicans in Congress are also under water, their figures are not as bad as Democrats, since 52 percent in general sees them unfavorable, compared to 39 percent that see them favorably.

Most Republicans, 86 percent, have a favorable vision of Republicans in Congress, compared to 88 percent of Democrats who disapprove and 58 percent of independents who share that feeling.

The survey also found that 60 percent believe that the Democratic Party is unfavorable as a whole, compared to 52 percent who feel the same for the Republican party.

The survey was tasks from March 30 to April 1, 2025, between 1,626 respondents. It has a margin or error +/- 3.3 percent. It follows another Economist/Yougov survey that revealed that the majority considers that the Democratic Party is without a rudder, which lacks a clear leader.

As Breitbart News reported:

The vast majority, 66 percent, said “No”, Democrats do not have a clear leader at this time. Another 27 remain insecure. Only seven percent said “yes.”

Notable, most Democrats, in this case, are aware of themselves, like most, 58 percent, admit that they do not have a clear leader at this time. Only 17 percent of the Democrats said that, in fact, they had a leader. Sixty -six percent of liberals agree that Democrats do not have a clear leader. Most Republicans and independent, 81 percent and 59 percent, respectively, agree.

This survey came immediately after the Democratic Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) pronouncing a marathon speech on the Senate floor for approximately 25 hours, breaking records. He made it clear that his speech was intended to be a show against President Donald Trump and the Maga agenda that millions of Americans voted in November.
