Verizon is being associated for what has been described as a “several -year association agreement” with the Green Bay Packers, and part of it implies providing debt relief to Wisconsin veterans.
According to a press release from Verizon, this general association “will improve cell service in and around the Lambeau field” and “drives innovation for the team and their fans and will support the community where the employees and packers of Verizon live, work and play.”
However, it does not end there, since this association includes an initiative to provide a debt relief of $ 3 million for Wisconsin veterans in the next two years. Debt relief for veterans is being done in coordination with Forgiveco.
According to the press release:
Those who receive this relief of the debt will be contacted by Forgivececo., A company that identifies and manages debt compensation for needy veterans. Veterans throughout the State will begin the scope of Forgiveco. In the coming months, without a registration process required to benefit. This seamless approach guarantees that veterans can access relief without additional stress.
“Verizon is proud to expand our commitment to Wisconsin veterans, based on our previous investment of $ 1 million,” said Andrew Brady, president of the Great Lakes market, in a statement.
“Forgiving debt is a tangible way of honoring their service and sacrifice. We recognize the burdens that our veterans carry, and through associations like this, our goal is to have an impact that changes life. Our dedication to veterans is pure and we are pure we are pure and we are pure and improve their well -being,” he added.
The press release indicates that $ 1 million for this cause will be administered “within the week.”
