The United States Sanctuary cities have protected tens of thousands of illegal criminal foreigners of the Federal Immigration Law, an expert witness to Congress on Eldedness told Eldedness.
In the testimony of the Subcommittee of the Judicial of the Chamber on Integrity of Imigration, Security and Control, the President of the National Immigration Center for Confaction (NICE) RJ Hauman said that from October 1, 2022, until February 6, 2025, the cities of sanctuary protected more than 25,000 illegal alienses illegal to delivery to immigration and customs.
“… In more than 1,400 cases, prisons could not notify ICE adequate to take custody of aliens,” said Hauman on the figures, published by the Immigration Studies Center.
More than half of them declined ice stopmers, about2 percent, occurred in the Sanctuary of California, where more than 13,000 illegal criminal foreigners were protected.
In Los Angeles, California, the State’s sanctuary policy assured that six illegal foreigners with homicide convictions or charges were released from jail instead of being delivered to ice agents.
This week, the 43-year-old illegal alien, Mario Edgardo García-Aquino, was arrested in Los Angeles County, California, for the murder of Oscar “Omar” Hernández, 13, whose body was found in a distche.
García-Aquino had accused in February of assaulting a 16-year-old boy in Los Angeles, but was not handed over to ice agents.
“The American people spoke high and of course in November. It is time for Congress to wake up, change Trump Gear and act decisively: ends the sanctuary cities for good and lance mass deportations now,” Hauman told the subcommittee. “Every day we delayed, we launched the dice on the next prevention tragedy, the next innocent life to a criminal alien who could have sent the packaging.”
