A couple was “Caht on the spot” in the middle of an Italian restaurant.
A man and a woman were having dinner at the San Marino restaurant in the northwest of England last Saturday when they were seen in the camera planting glass in their food before refusing to pay.
The woman complained to the restaurant about a sharp object in her pasta, claiming that she “almost broke” her veneers.
They allegedly refused to pay the bill of $ 139, they tried to receive compensation, then left the restaurant, the Sun reported.
The family ordered a Penne San Marino paste, a Kebab Shish from lamb to housing, garlic bread, César salad, still water, water with gas and a coca-cora.
“They had almost finished her food when the lady called one of the staff and said she found a piece of glass in her food that was in her mouth and almost broke her sheet teeth for which she had paid thousands of pounds,” Miraz Yolcu said.
CCTV’s images revealed that the entire Fiasco was probably a scam, and the staff claimed that the video showed the man by taking out a glass group from his pocket and giving him the woman to place in his napkin.
You can see the woman by placing part of her food in the napkin with the glass before calling a staff member.
“She simply put it on the table on a piece of napkin and pretended that she was in her mouth,” said Yolcu.
“Everyone was in shock. The staff was worried and called the manager who came and asked what had happened. They said they did not pay this meal,” he explained. “The manager said:” Sorry, it just does not happen, it is impossible to find glass in the food. This is not glass that we use in the kitchen. “
Yolcu said they sent a photo of the glass in question and knew “immediately” that it was the correct type of glass. “Before saying that, they didn’t pay.”
“These types of scams are harmful to small and workers companies like ours,” San Marino shared with Facebook in the video title.
Yolcu said the incident has been reported to the Cheshire Police, who confirmed that they are investigating the situation.
“At 1 in the morning, on Sunday, April 6, the police received reports from a robbery/deception in a restaurant in Widnes,” said a Cheshire police spokesman. “The person who called reported that three customers had left the facilities without paying a meal after claiming to find a piece of broken glass in their food.”
“After reviewing the CCTV images, the person calling believes that customers placed the glass in the food. The consultations in relation to the matter are in the early stages.”
Yolcu said everything seemed to be well when the food was delivered and the table began to eat.
“It was shocking to see CCTV’s images. They were with their daughter, but they are not embarrassed. They hurry and simply came and they say they needed something for EA, so happy he showed them a table.
“They have experience. She was looking at the cameras around,” he said. “They did not pay for food, but there was no compensation. We got it in the CCTV, so we will not pay them a penny.”
The first time something like that happened in the restaurant, Yolcu investigated and received advice on what to do in thesis situations.
“It does not happen, but it causes a lot of stress to the staff. It is a serious accusation that could involve the police, environmental health and cause all kinds of business problems. It could be Damag with the reputation of the restaurant,” said Yolcu.
“You must be really calm. Before any additional action you must say” I have to take a look at the camera and call the police. “If they are serious, they will verify these things and if they are not, they will be surprised and if they invent it they would be really scared,” he added.
