Anjelica Huston revealed that she survived a “serious” cancer battle six years ago.
The “Addams” Actress explained that she had a “cancer fighting” after the launch of the 2019 film, “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.”
“That was a very serious moment for me,” he told People in a new interview published on Wednesday. “I managed to survive, and I am proud or myself.”
Huston, 73, did not disseminate the type of cancer or the stage at the time of diagnosis, but admitted that it was a “shock” at that time.
“It’s not something that came lightly,” he told The Outlet. “It comes as a great shock, but it makes me aware of what I should, or places I should go. One of those places was taking life too seriously. So now when the opportunity arises, I love, and I try.”
The “Bruges” actress explained that she reached the “four -year brand” or that it is not cancer and that it is “in Clear”.
“It’s fantastic something,” he sprouted. “I am very proud of myself and I am very lucky. My doctors have been wonderful.”
Huston remembered to celebrate his first cancer free scan four years ago and how “he just entered [her] Garden and smelled the roses and thought the intelligent [she] was. “
The Oscar winner decided to share his story to try to spread the hope to people who go through a similar situation.
“Sometimes you feel you don’t do it because talking about it for the obvious reasons, but there is much to say to talk about it and take it out and celebrate the fact that one has arrived through,” he told The Outlet.
“Life is dim and wonderful. It also gives you the idea that the world is great and that you can somehow coincide with that. That you are ready for what happens,” he added.
Afterteken, a pause of acting in person in person, Huston returned to the screen for the first time from the diagnosis and will star as Lady Tressilian in the Limited Britbox series “Agatha Christie’s H for Zero.”
Huston does not foresee his last health scare that slows it in the short term and said he is not ready for retirement in the short term.
“I can’t imagine such a thing,” he confessed. “I think it would be too much, just for me.”
Huston, daughter of director John Huston and the granddaughter of actor Walter Huston, jumped to fame in the 1980s after starring in the successful 1985 film, “Prizzi’s Honor.” She has starred in a myriad of successful projects, including “crimes and miscellaneous”, “Las Brujas” and “The Royal Tenenbaums”, among others.
